How do i set up my fishing pole?

hey
i just got a fishing pole and i cant figure out how to connect it.
the rod comes already built, and then the reel already has fishing wire spooled around, but i dont know how to attatch it to the bail.

The bail is the metal semi circle shaped thing by the way before i start!

Ok take a little line of the spool and push it underneath the part just above where the line is in this picture http://www.landbigfish.com/images/store/Daiwa-Laguna.jpg
You then pass this up through the rod guides (the little holes on the pole) then simply attach your float hook etc….to the line
