What are some good road trip activities for 8 year old girls?

My family and two other families are going on a cruise and we have to drive 12 hours to Baltimore, MD and I told the two girls that I would make a road trip packet with things for them both to do. Any answers will do!!

That sounds like fun! ive been on a few cruises in the past. well, when im bored in the car, i play a game where its like your in a race, and you have to try and beat the cars around you. also, if you allow, they can make funny faces at drivers… lol.. a dvd player is a good idea.. maybe a colouring book? have a good time! hope i helped! 8o)
